  1. Constitution Day is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly in 1949.
  2. National Milk Day is celebrated on 26 November every year to signify the importance and benefits of milk, and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the father of India’s White Revolution.  
  3. Every year on 24 November, Lachit Diwas is celebrated as the birthday of Ahom General Lachit Borphukan.
  4. The Tamil Nadu Government on 22 November, 2022 declared the Arittapatti village in Madurai district as the first biodiversity heritage site of the state.
  5. IIT Guwahati Director T G Sitharam has been appointed as the Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
  6. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the ‘Kadalekai Parishe’, a groundnut fair in Bengaluru’s Basavanagudi on 20 November, 2022.

  11. Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first male player to score in five World Cups with his goal for Portugal against Ghana on 24 November. He scored the 118th goal for his country. 
  12. Prashant Wagh was conferred with the ‘Asia’s Inspirational Leader 2022’ award at the ‘Global Business Conclave 2022’ in London on 25 November, 2022.
  13. NIIT Limited has been recognized as the Best E-Learning Platform by the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
  14. Bank of Baroda opened its first mid-corporate Branch in Kerala at Kochi. The branch was inaugurated by Debadatta Chand, Executive Director in the presence of S. Rengarajan, GM (Head – Mid Corporate Cluster South), and Sreejith Kottarathil, Zonal Head-Ernakulam.
  15. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has been placed at the 28th position in the Top 50 of Times Higher Education Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS).
